Dear Donors, staffs and Partners,
Greetings from CAD Head-Office, Yangon.
As you should have known that the Myanmar government has appointed the CAD Director, Mr. Joseph Win Hlaing Oo (below picture) as the new Commissioner of the Myanmar National Human Rights Commission (MNHRC) on October 7, 2024 as the Christian Representative. His tenure in this commission is for 5 months (from 9 September 2024 to 13 January 2025).

Due to this appointment, the CAD Senior Management Team had ad-hoc meeting on 1 October and it decided that CAD Directorship will be temporarily handed over to Mr. Anthony Eng Ngai Thang, who has working as HR and Procurement manager in CAD Head-Office, Yangon.
This directorship hand-over covers for 5 months only and it can be extended if our founder’s public service position is extended.
This announcement begins today October 1, 2024, onward until any decision is updated.
